Our visit to the museum

Today we went to the museum.
We went on the bus.
We sat on the mosaic bench.
We made our own tapa cloth.
Then we went to the gallery.
Last we learned how to do a Samoan dance.
We had lots of fun.

100th Day of School

On Monday it was the 100th day of school. All week we learned about the number 100. We made glasses of the number 100, we made chains of 100 loops, we collected a 100 thins and we ate a piece of our 100 cake. 100 days of school on PhotoPeach

Room 14's Pyjama Day

Today we had a pyjama day and we brought our favourite teddies to school. We had fairy bread for Morning Tea and we measured our teddies from the tallest to the shortest.

We dressed up as our favourite book characters.

We made a book about finding Q-bear based on our shared book called "Where is Miss Pool?"

Tangaroa's Gift

We retold the story of how the paua got its beautiful shell and we illustrated it.

The firemen came to Awapuni School

 Tim, the firefighter, read Room 14 a story. It was about a day of a firefighter.

Trip to the museum

Today Room 14 and 15 went to the museum to paint some faces.

 

We painted funny, angry, happy, sad and suprised faces.
